The maker movement is a global revolution for all ages. Maker spaces are creative, DIY spaces where people with common interests (often in computers, machining, technology, science, digital art or electronic art) can gather to create, invent, learn, socialise and collaborate.
Room 8 got creative in the junior maker space recently.
Caspian and Max brought in old toys from home and had a go at ‘toy hacking’.
Children enjoy using tools to take old computers apart, getting creative with recycled materials and exploring circuits and technology.
Thank you to parent helpers and families who donated recycled materials from home.
