Friday 24th May saw many of our students arriving at school on foot to celebrate Walk Safely to School Day. This is an annual event to highlight the need for regular exercise and healthy eating habits.
Mr Mcleod once again rustled up a truckload of fruit which volunteers cut up and placed on platters, for students to enjoy after their walk. Students who caught the bus were not left out, being able to walk around the oval as they reached school.
Thanks to Luke and Callie from The Garden Basket on Boodjidup Road for supplying us with fresh and tasty fruit and vegetables on the day. The students enjoyed the refreshing fruit after their safe walk to school or amble around the school oval.
