Friday 18 May was National Walk to School Day. Parents and students embraced this health initiative, arriving with their child and their efforts were acknowledged with stickers handed out at the school entrances to those who walked, rode, skated or scooted to school. Bus students, and those driven to school, were encouraged to complete a lap of the oval as they arrived.
Volunteers and staff cut up fresh watermelon and apples which was made available to all in the undercover area. This was a great welcome to school. Thanks go to those who helped prepare the fruit and to Ms Angell for organising the day.
