Welcome to Margaret River Primary School, Online.
Margaret River Primary School a state public school has been providing an outstanding, all-round education for students from Kindergarten to Year 6 since 1927. The school has a proud history built around strong educational leadership, excellent teaching and strong core values.
Our vision at Margaret River Primary is to provide a supportive, professional, skilled, creative environment so all students can grow in knowledge, experiences and friendship, support each other, share their achievements and work towards realising their dreams.
Programs
Learning is more than an academic pursuit; it is a ‘total picture’, which provides a balance between a student’s intellectual, physical, emotional and relational needs. Students have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of specialist areas in and out of school to complement the core learning curriculum.
The school offers unique programs in Music, Art, Indonesian, Technologies and a Physical Education program that embraces the our local environment with surfing, skating, mountain biking and other adventurous activities.
The school actively promotes inclusive pastoral care and fosters the development of social and emotional well being. We take a whole school approach to literacy and numeracy. School wide pedagogy embraces Inquiry Learning with a focus on thinking skills, visual literacy, student engagement, and the integration of information and computer technology skills.
Our staff actively engages in training and professional development involving practical skills, tools and strategies needed in order to implement the Western Australian Curriculum. We want our students to become lifelong learners, active participants and resilient, accomplished creators of tomorrow’s history.
