Jeremy is a family man, surfer and environmental scientist who brings significant corporate knowledge to the Board through more than a decade of work experience with global consultancies and major resource companies. He is passionate about the South West and ensuring our school prepares our children for life outside of the school system.
Maureen Kollman is a parent representative on the Board who is keen to make a contribution to our school and the wider Margaret River community. Her professional experience includes working with, and/or reporting to, Boards in a range of private and not for profit organisations and as such she as a thorough understanding of governance processes. Maureen has a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Marketing & Public Relations and she is currently employed by the Margaret River Busselton Tourism Association.
As an Education Assistant and a parent at the school I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to the success of our school by becoming a Board member. I am passionate about student learning and well being and I hope my skills and experience will add value to our school.
Liz has been a permanent member of staff at MRPS since 2010. During her tenure Liz formed a part of the Year 4 team, successfully achieving her Level 3 Teacher status based around her knowledge and leadership in the area of behaviour management. For the last three years, Liz has accepted a part time Deputy Principal role within the school, focusing on Health and Wellbeing, and supporting and expanding on the range of sustainability practices that are embedded in the MRPS school culture.
Lorraine is passionate about teaching and learning and has been part of Margaret River Primary School for ten years. During her years of teaching she has thoroughly enjoyed working with all year levels from K-7. For the last four years Lorraine has been part of the Administration team focusing on Students at Educational Risk and the Learning Environment. More recently she has added the English to her portfolio which has always been an area of strength and interest throughout her years of teaching and learning. Throughout life she believes in building strong and positive relationships, acknowledging others strengths and experiences to build upon her own learning journey and life experiences.
Sarah is parent of two girls at MRPS, year 1 and 3 and is also the nominated P&C representative on the School board. Sarah is passionate about the region and the community our children will grow up in. When not running the kids around she is busy Selling Houses.
As a proud graduate of MRPS and with 2 children now at the school Rachel is keen to contribute to its governance as a parent member of the school board. Rachel has a Commerce and Law degree and after several years of legal practice she then moved into a variety of business management roles throughout her career in the UK and WA. In addition she has served on several boards of not-for-profit organisations.
Jasmine is a parent to two students at MRPS, a son in Year 2 and daughter in PP. She is excited about supporting her children and the school as part of the Board. She brings to the board over a decade of experience teaching in the UK, Japan and Australia, a Masters in Education Leadership, and a passion for improving student outcomes.
