On Monday the 10th of June, 32 children from the blue and red Kindy groups boarded a bus to visit the high School Farm. Farm Manager Peter Miles organised Year 10 helpers to guide Kindy children around the farm. We saw; calves, cows and a bull, pigs, marron, fish, alpacas, sheep and had a go at sitting in a tractor and beeping the horn.
After this we had morning tea in the farm classroom and went for a walk in the Organic Gardens.
Thank-you so much to the High School and all our parent helpers who helped make the excursion so enjoyable.
We will continue to learn about The Farm for the rest of the term.
Yellow and Green groups will go on the excursion as soon as the weather clears.
Enjoy this slideshow of our visit. 😎
