T12 have been busy in the garden and here is what they had to say:
Asia said,
On Tuesday we went gardening. It was a lot of fun. I’m in Apples group and we got to take the chickens to their pen. We also had to pick a lot of weeds out of the garden so they don’t grow there again!
The Life Cycle Mushroom Box is really fun. I really enjoy coming to school every day to see if any mushrooms have started to grow. I like oysters and mushrooms so I will like these. It’s cool that it contains the waste of 80 cups of coffee!
My group had to put some fresh soil from the compost into the garden beds. We spread it around and got it ready for planting new seeds. Later some kids from T11 showed us some mice they had found in a nest.
I had to clean the back of the shed. We got all the wood and wire and there were bugs, snails and insects everywhere. We put this into the tip pile. I really enjoyed getting messy and figuring out how to untangle the wire and wood.
