Our Pre-Primary classes recently celebrated the end of their inquiry by inviting students’ grandparents to come in for morning tea and to share their learning journey.
Rooms 19, 20 and 21 held their Grandparents’ Day on Wednesday 2nd July with Room 18 to hold their day this term on Friday, 1 August.
Some of the activities on the day were; songs, showing grandparents our work on our Our Family Inquiry including a family tree and timeline, we shared morning tea and we held an intergenerational quiz.
We were lucky to see some amazing items from the olden days such as; war medals, meat grinder, photos, irons, washers,, glass lamps, heirloom rugs and much more.
A great day was had by all.
