Book Week was a great success at Margaret River Primary with Captain Underpants (aka Mr. Thomas) at the helm, as staff and students dressed up as their favourite book characters last Wednesday.
At an assembly of the whole school, Captain Underpants read a book to students – not just any book, but a picture book with no pictures!
Students responded with glee to the humour of the words and the situation. Participation was a good indicator of our students’ love of reading and you can see the range of their reading interests from the variety of book characters who appeared on the day.
