Hi from Ms Helen & Bo Bo!!  Here’s the first snippet of my weekly updates from the Music Room.

REMEMBER: Parent/Student Information Night for Year 6 will be held THIS week on Tuesday evening at 6.00pm in the MRPS Staffroom.  Students are asked to attend.  This is your opportunity  (Parents and Students ) to meet your instrumental teacher and answer any queries regarding your instrument/lessons.  It is important, that as part of your committment , you attend this meeting.  Thank you.

All parents and students of the Year 6/7 SIM Programme, please note we hope to commence formal lessons in Week 2. 

Introducing our fabulous Instrumental Teachers:

Flute (Di Edmonds),  Clarinet (Sunny Hardy) ,  Trumpet (Anna Rose) and  Guitar (Mark Hassall).

Proposed days for all students are as follows (to be confirmed):

Guitar – Thursday am

Trumpet, Clarinet, Flute – Tuesday

Information regarding the purchasing of instruments was sent home in Term 4, 2009.  Yr 6 Guitars  (if not already) need to be purchased for the commencement of lessons in Week 2.  If not purchasing your instrument (Yr 6 only, Flute, Clarinet and trumpet) loan agreements (supplied Term 4, 2009) can be finalised and payment can be made at the Front Office.
