A buzz of excitement filled the Music Room at lunchtime on Tuesday and Wednesday as students gathered with their coaches, Graeme Smailes and Tony Lane, to form their bands, Boodji Beats and River Rascals.
After a short hiatus due to Covid restrictions, the joy of being part of a band was evident in the smiling faces and happy dance, as roles were allocated. This is just the start – a very uplifting start, for a year of musical fun and connection, with community events and the popular gig at Settlers Tavern a welcome light at the end of the tunnel.
