Students in T4 let their imaginations run wild when designing a superhero to look after the Earth’s environment.  As part of their Inquiry topic, Earth Watch, students were set the task to design a ‘superhero’ that would encourage people to rethink, reduce, reuse and recycle.  Heroes came in a variety of shapes and sizes and were made out of a wide variety of materials found around the home that could be recycled or reused.  ‘Heroes’ were powered by solar, batteries and waste, came with capes, hair, arms, lasers and their stomachs were major sorting, compacting and incinerating machines.  All students introduced their ‘hero’ to the class, outlining the powers of their creation and what they would do to people that they found littering – squirting them with goo, locking them in their stomachs for a week, zapping them with lasers.  We hope that none of them catch you littering!
