In Terms 1 & 2, middle cell and senior cell students participated in surfing classes as part of the offsite sport options program. Conditions and tides in Term 1 saw the classes being held at the Rivermouth while Term 2 with its light winds and high tides saw the program run exclusively at Sewer Bowls Beach with the advanced kids heading over to the peeling lefts at Inside Grunters.
Once again the option was a huge success with first timers through to regular grommets all making huge improvements in their abilities plus improving ocean knowledge and awareness. We’ll done to all involved.
