ROOM 4 CELEBRATE IN OLD FASHIONED STYLE

Students in Room 4 held their celebration on the last day of school..

Our inquiry topic this term has been ‘Australian Goldfields’ and we have worked with each other in groups to create a newspaper from the 1850’s. We created diaries, letters to the editor, maps, cartoons and word puzzles. 

On Friday, 8th of July 2011, we celebrated a great term of work with a ‘Goldfields Day”. We dressed in goldfields clothes, we played games from the olden days, had a treasure hunt and a quiz.  A big thank you to Chris, for helping design the treasure hunt.
