Margaret River Kindy Play Cafe offers parents of enrolled 2013 kindy children the opportunity of spending quality time at Margaret River Kindergarten on Friday afternoons during November to experience the kindy atmosphere and learning environment. You’ll be able to meet the teachers and support staff while your child joins other new kindy children in activities and having fun.
The Kindy Play Cafe is an innovative transition to kindy program Margaret River Kindergarten are running from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. each Friday afternoon in November. Guest health professionals will also be on site to answer any questions you might have. All you need to bring is a piece of fruit to share, a water bottle and a wide-brimmed hat for your child. It’s a great opportunity for families and children to make links with the Kindy before formally attending in 2013.
Our 2012 kindy kids have been busy painting showbags for families who come to Kindy Play Cafe. Inside the showbag are informative brochures, reading lists, activity cards to promote fine motor skills, a Nature Play passport, fun gifts and a pamper pack for Mum.

Kellie Gray (our school psychologist) has put together a number of Kindy Fun Readiness Activities which parents can do with their children at home using everyday items readily found around the house. She says:
