On Thursday afternoon (12th August), Indonesian youth ambassadors visited our school to speak to our year six and seven students. They spoke about the benefits of studying a foreign language at school and after leaving school. Their message was that continuing to study a foreign language opens up many opportunities for travel and cultural exchanges for young adults.
Twenty selected students will be attending the Consulate of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to celebrate Indonesia’s Independence Day on Tuesday, 17th August. They will be Margaret River Primary School’s Indonesian Language Ambassadors and we wish them well for their trip to Perth.
