The annual Year 6 Go Kart construction and race off proved to be a winner with parents and students turning out in droves to see the spectacle. Utes and power tools were the order of the day as parents and helpers filled the oval, assisting students to turn their go kart designs into unique racing machines! A week later the much awaited race day brought uncertain weather conditions, but the race proceeded and was a real crowd pleaser as these photos show. What a fantastic technology project this is and students really have to practise their collaborative skills for this one!
