As part of the curriculum focus on Engaging Asia, Ibu Janice led students at last week’s assembly in a series of marching sequences, where Year 3 students followed directional instructions in Indonesian. Year 5 students then played traditional Indonesian musical instruments, led by Ms Helen before the whole school joined in to sing “Hallo Hallo Bandung” in Indonesian. The entire performance went off smoothly, as students enjoyed the experience, completely at home with their second language.
