Aspenz is once again supporting our school kitchen garden. They are holding a Community Cake Bake-Off during the holidays. Cakes are to be brought to Aspenz at 9:00 on Saturday 14 April, for judging. Thank you to Naimh A-L and Mimi Mc for creating the lovely posters put up around the school and a big thank you to Aspenz for their continued support of the kitchen garden program.
Amateur cake bakers are invited to create their most creative cake possible. There is an open class and an under 12’s class. The under 12’s class cake theme is your favourite book character, which gives you room to use your imagination. The flyer pictured highlights prizes on offer which would be welcome by any food lover or aspiring cook.
As a generous supporter of the kitchen garden program Aspenz will be donating a portion of the the entry fee to our program. So support the local businesses who support us. Registration forms available from the shop and I encourage as many people as possible to participate in the bake off.
