Year 3 students will be attending a BioBlitz at the Barrett Street Weir with Tracey Muir from Nature Conservation where they will be involved in bird spotting, learning about live animals (Snakes, possums, etc) catching/identifying marron, discovering native fish with scientists, fauna trapping with an ecologist, engaging with the Nearer to Nature discovery trailer and immersing themselves in Wadandi culture. All year 3 students from the Margaret River schools and Cowaramup and Karridale Primary schools will be involved in this half day Spring Bioblitz learning about and celebrating our local flora, fauna and culture.
Day will be divided into the following sessions
Kindy and Pre-Primary 1.00-1.45pm
Years 1 and 2 2.15 – 3.15pm
Years 3 and 4 3.45 – 4.45pm
Years 5 and 6 5.15 – 6.15pm
Entry fee includes popcorn and a juice box
