For all those parents looking for something fun for your children to do during the holidays, the Augusta and Margaret River Libraries are offering the following activities.
Badge Making and Bookmarks
The Augusta library is hosting a winter warmers craft session this school holidays and we invite you all to join us in making badges and bookmarks. All materials are provided in this FREE school holiday activity so come along to join the fun! Best suited for children aged 5 and over.
Bookings are essential, as spaces are limited so phone the library on 9780 5600 to reserve your place.
Augusta Library: Thursday 19 July 10.30—11.30 am
The Great Big Margaret River Library Book Scavenger Hunt
We are placing library books in shops around Margaret River town and all you need to do is spot five, write the locations on an entry form and drop it into the library. There will be prizes from all participating local businesses, so hunt down the library books and win! Entry forms available from the library and participating businesses and the treasure hunt is running for the whole July school holidays. Open to all school age children and major prizes will be drawn Thursday July 26.
Baby Rhyme Time
Margaret River Library every Monday 2.30pm. Aimed at 0 – 2 year olds. Join us for rhymes, music and afternoon tea.
Storytime
Margaret River Library every Tuesday 10.00am for stories, rhymes, songs, music and craft.
Augusta Library every second Thursday of the month 10.30am. Morning tea is included for Augusta storytimers.
Storytime is programmed for 2 – 5 year olds however all are welcome
