The new Kindy handover will be this week and the new rooms will be operational day 1 term 2, with parents encouraged to use Georgette Street for parking.
Parents are invited to tour the new kindy next week. Mr K will be holding two opening afternoons next Monday and Tuesday at 2.30pm for parents of those respective Kindy groups. Meet outside the new kindy building by 2.30 p.m.
He said that
the removalist and other workers will be relocating items from the old kindy in the last week of this term. I am encouraging parents to keep their children at home during this last week if possible, to assist us in the move. The regular program will not occur at the old site in this last week. Parents, if you are unable to keep your children at home, please let your kindy teacher know. [If parents are unable to cater for them, the children will come to the kindy and the pre-primary.]
There will be a farewell sundowner at the old kindy on Wednesday, 9th April, from 5 – 6 p.m. All past students, teachers, parents are welcome to attend. Nibblies will be provided.
