Img_3952 (Small)Our Dreamcatchers Singing Group recently joined choirs and singers from Cowaramup PS, Vasse PS and Dunsborough PS for their annual Music Camp.  The combined group is known as Tutti Cantanti which means ” all singing together”.

On Thursday 4th September, the group (totalling 160 singers) workshopped five songs to present to each of the participating schools.  Over the term, each school had been learning parts of each song, and during the workshop these parts were all put together.

Their performance at Margaret River Primary was on Friday 5th September where the whole school turned out for an incredible musical treat in the undercover area.  The line up of songs included: “The Beat of a Drum”,  “Happy”,  “Blue Moon”, “Do you wanna Dance” and “Gloves”.  The teachers’ dedication and passion for their craft was obvious and we were treated to a song from Us to prove it.

Enjoy the audio clips and snippets of their performance here.  [NOTE: We have a new media player.  It does not have an arrow to click on but two blue squares.  CLICK ON the LEFT BLUE BLOX in the media player below each song title, TO PLAY and click again TO STOP.  The right-hand blue box is MUTE and the play bar far right of mute is the VOLUME control.  Just click and drag inside the volume bar. ]

Great job, Dreamcatchers and Tutti Cantati and many thanks to the wonderful parents who assisted and, of course, to the dedicated Music Specialists from all of the schools involved in this biannual event!  🙂
