The students of Indonesian class went on a cooking spree! We made pisang goreng (banana fritters) to familiarize ourselves with popular Indonesian snacks. The students deserve to be complemented for their good manners and big effort, attempting to practise their Indonesian on that day. Supervised by some lovely parents, the students prepared the ingredients, cooked and cleaned up by themselves. It turned out that we had a great day. Preparations were very organised, pisang goreng were served, and Indonesian words were practised. What a fun day!
