On Thursday 29 July, celebrity chef Kylie Kwong visited our school’s kitchen garden.  She was in town to promote her new book  “It Tastes Better” at Cullens Winery.   Our kitchen garden mentor, Ian Parmenter, invited Kylie to visit Margaret River Primary School’s Kitchen Garden to see sustainable gardening in action.  Kylie was thrilled with the opportunity to visit as she is a  NSW ambassador for the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation.  She was very impressed with our efforts, especially as having her very own kitchen garden is still one of her dreams.

Sustainable gardening is what our Kitchen Garden project is all about.  Kylie Kwong believes  in this as well as a number of other worthwhile projects.  Thank you for your support, Kylie.
