What’s your favourite morning tea treat?
Is it silky chocolate cake, luscious jelly slices or crunchy cookies topped with Smarties? Could it be decadent cupcakes beneath towering creative frostings, or everyone’s favourite – melt-in-the-mouth chocolate brownies?

No matter what you desired it was on Wednesday’s cake stall, ready and waiting for the hungry hordes of students to snap up and enjoy!

Christie Ker and Kylie Brickle joined forces to facilitate this fundraiser for the Year 6 Camp. They organised the event and enlisted the help of a willing band of parent helpers who worked flat out selling and cleaning up. Thank you to: Alana, Kate, Sarita and Sophie.

Room 2 was overflowing with the generous donations from our Year 6 families on Wednesday morning as students arrived in a cavalcade of two-by-twos, arms loaded with containers filled with yummy treats. This generous and enthusiastic support was echoed by the turnout of students ready to buy a morning tea treat at recess.

Thank you to Christie, Kylie and their parent team; our Year 6 families who baked and donated and everyone who came along and supported the cake stall.
What a successful fundraiser it was for our Year 6 Camp – raising $1 180 in total!!
More importantly, as most students found out on Wednesday– you can have your cake and eat it!
