This morning at 5:30 a.m. bleary-eyed parents arrived at school to see off teachers and Year 7 students for the historic 33rd and final Rotto Camp. Don’t we all wish we were there….. We all wish you an amazing time, making memories to last a lifetime!
REASON #1 – MRPS Year Sevens are there
REASON #2 – Mr K is there for a few days too
REASON #3 – the awesome weather
REASON #4 – it’s the final Year 7 Rotto Camp ever
REASON #5 – all of the above…
So….we’ll hear all about it from them when they get back!

Please don’t make this the last Rotto Camp!! Its a MRPS tradition!! It just gets handed down to Year 6’s!! Please!!!
Unfortunately, the teachers have said that the independent life skills design of this camp really only work with older students. 🙁 Year 6 camps will be different but will still be great fun, like Pemby was this year! 🙂
Hopefully the high school will take on the tradition for their new year 7s if it is designed for that age group. Pass it on!
