As our school numbers have grown it’s a tight fit with the whole school gathered together in the undercover area, so this year assemblies will alternate between Junior and Senior assemblies each Monday morning.
Last Monday morning was the first of our Junior Assemblies for the year, with students from Year 1 to 3 able to spread out comfortably in the hot weather.
Students were introduced to Ms Jonelle Fraser who has returned to Margaret River Primary School as a deputy after four years at home raising a young family. She now has two beautiful daughters. Ms Fraser said she was excited to be back as a deputy and she is enjoying her teaching role, taking PP/1s for Music and Year 3s for Science and Health. At the assembly, Ms Fraser led Year 1 students in a singing competition, where two groups of Year Ones sang “MY ABC” and “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” simultaneously. They both did a great job! 😆
Ms Helen presented Year 3 students from Room 6 with the Bee-Bop-a-Lula Award for this week. She said it was for:
fantastic participation during your lesson. Love your work!
Mr K and Mr Madden congratulated our junior students for their excellent behaviour as they’ve settled back into school routines. What a great start to the new year!
